URUK-WARKA website ... Goal and Contains
Website goal:
The website is not a proficiently website from a design point of view and this is not its goal. The main reason of its release is to help in gathering materials about pioneers in Iraqi Archaeologists and in general about Archaeology in Iraq in this website, instead of having them in different websites. Other websites may definitely have partly the same goal, therefore we hope and expect a close cooperation with them. The other materials about ancient Iraqi cities displayed in this website is mainly to motivate the readers in the main goal purpose.
Why the name URUK-WARKA:
Uruk (Warka in Arabic) is one of the ancient cities in Sumerian Iraq and where the first till now written tablet found, as a sign of the start of the civilization or what is called historical periods.
Website contains:
There are two menus to the left and right in each page in this website. The left one mainly used for ancient Iraqi cities, while the right for Iraqi Archaeologists available in the internet, as well other specific issues as the mathematics in ancient Iraq. The page "News and Updates" contains each month updates of the website.
Notice:
We apolgize for still incomplete books or materiale names, as well other deficiencies in the website.

موقع اوروك – الوركاء ... المغزى والمحتويات
المغزى من الموقع – الصفحة:
لايعد الموقع-الصفحة متطورا فنيا من ناحية التصميم او العرض, وليس الهدف اساسا ان يكون كذلك.
المغزى الرئيسي من اطلاقه هو العمل على جمع مختلف المواد ذات العلاقة بالرواد الاثاريين العراقيين وبشكل عام بموضوع الاثار في العراق, ووضعها في متناول يد القراء, بدلا من تشتتها في مواقع مختلفة على الانترنيت. لاشك ان هناك مواقع اخرى لها اهتمام كلي او جزئي بنفس الهدف, ولذا نتطلع الى تعاون مستمر معهم في تبادل المعلومات, كما يتمنى الموقع عبر نشر المواد الاخرى المعروضة فيه حول المدن في العراق القديم وغيرها, الى تحفيز القراء وصولا للهدف الرئيسي له.
لماذا اسم الموقع اوروك-الوركاء:
تعد اوروك او الوركاء بالعربية من احدى مدن العراق القديم في زمن الحضارة السومرية, وهي المدينة التي وجد فيها اول لوح مكتوب, والذي يشكل رمزا لبداية الحضارة البشرية او مااصطلح على تسميته بالادوار التأريخية.
محتويات الموقع:
يتوفر الموقع على دليلين فرعيين في كل صفحة منه, الاول منها على يسار كل صفحة و يتضمن روابط لمدن العراق القديم, اما الثاني على اليمين فيتضمن روابط لما هو متوفر عن الرواد الاثاريين العراقيين , اضافة الى مواضيع متخصصة مثل موضوع الرياضيات في العراق القديم.
صفحة الاخبار والتحديثات ستضم كل التحديثات للموقع على مستوى كل شهر.
ملاحظة:
نعتذر للقراء عن النقص في عناوين الكتب والمواد اضافة الى اية نواقص اخرى يحتويها الموقع
كيفية الاتصال بنا:
يتوفر للقارئ امكانية ارسال رسالة الكترونية – ايميل – للموقع عبر المراسلة على العنوان التالي.

في حال موافقة المرسل يمكن وضع نص رسالته كاملا او جزئيا في صفحة المراسلة لغرض اطلاع القراء عليها والتواصل مع مضمونها. الموقع سيكون ممتنا وشاكرا لاية مواد يزود بها من اجل تحديثه وزيادة المواد المنشورة فيه. في حالة الحاجة يمكن مستقبلا انشاء صفحة ضمن الموقع كي يتمكن القراء من ادخال ملاحظاتهم مباشرة.
